                             The Sage Wins Big at Home Builders Aurora Award

 

 Nvision, Developer of the green Townhome Community is A Top Winner for 2009

 

Winter Park, FL (August 10, 2009)  “This is exhilarating and proof that building green was the right thing to do,” says Ian McCook, President of Nvision, the Development Manager of The Sage at Winter Park as he accepted multiple Grand Awards at the Aurora Awards held in Orlando. “Our townhomes are selling; we are winning awards, all testaments to building green in a beautiful Winter Park location.”

 

 “The AURORA Awards are the Grammy’s of the home building profession,” said Ashley Jennings, of Kay Green Design, Orlando, FL and Chair of the 2008 selection committee. “The AURORA symbolizes tremendous achievement, honor and distinction among building industry professionals.”

 

The Sage won 4 Grand Awards, and a total of 9 awards overall in the categories of; Energy Efficient Home, Green Construction, Natural Gas in a residential development, Attached For-Sale Home and Interior Merchandising.

 

Entries were submitted this year from home building professionals in a 12-state southeast region plus the Caribbean.  The nationally recognized AURORA Awards are given for  new home construction, remodeling, commercial/mixed use and design excellence. The awards honor builders, designers, architects and other industry professionals from Texas to Florida to Virginia. 

 

ABOUT AURORA AWARDS:

The AURORA Award competition is open to builders, architects, interior designers, landscape architects and other home building professionals in Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas and Virginia. AURORA Award winners are announced each year in conjunction with the Southeast Building Conference. SEBC is a 12-state regional conference attended by more than 10,000 home building professionals.
